Charity Donation FAQ's

You shop as normal on the Wrapped in Kindness website adding items you want to purchase to your basket. When you checkout, there will be a drop down box asking you to select which charity you would like the donation to go to.

10% of the value of each order is donated excluding shipping costs and payment processing fees.

Donations are paid over to our charity partners once a quarter following the end of each calendar quarters  (Paid April for Q1, Paid in July for Q2, Paid in October for Q3, Paid in January for Q4)

This donation is funded by Wrapped in Kindness from the proceeds received. In some instances our amazing suppliers have given us discounts on their wholesale pricing in order to help fund this donation.

We do not add any extra costs onto the RRP to fund this donation so the customer does not pay anything extra for the donation element. It is entirely funded by Wrapped in Kindness with some help from our suppliers.

When you purchase a gift voucher, you can also select which charity you would like the donation to go to from the dropdown menu at checkout. When the gift voucher recipient spends the voucher, they will also get to select a charity for the amount that they spend over and above the gift voucher amount. 

No you cannot pick a charity outside of our agreed charity partners. However we would be delighted to hear your suggestions for charities we could partner up with in the future by filling in our contact form.

We have partnered up with Irish charities as we want to provide a unique space where customers can support both small Irish designers/makers and Irish charities at the same time. We feel that people will have more of an affinity and experience of these charities so they will be more meaningful to them and their loved ones.

We will review the list of charity partners each year in December and decide whether we will be amending it for the next calendar year. We will keep the partners to 12 or less so that each charity listed has a chance of sharing in the donations. If we get enough suggestions for a particular charity we will consider putting it on the list for the following year. 

Yes of course. A charity can put themselves forward to become a partner of Wrapped in Kindness by filling in our contact form. We will consider all suggestions put forward and respond accordingly.

Yes we have full permission from each of our charity partners.

As long as returns are made within our returns policy timeline , we will refund the full amount paid by the customer (excluding shipping costs). The charity donation will not be made in the case of a product being returned and refunded.

We will be documenting Donation Day each quarter on social media with photographic evidence of donations being transmitted on the various charities websites. We will announce when we reach big milestone cumulative donation amounts such as €1,000, €5,000, €10,000 etc
